For my birthday I asked Keith if we could go hike Ben Lomond Peak. We weren't sure if we could get up and back in just a few hours so we decided to take the 4 wheelers to Inspiration point and hike over. We went with Brock and Jodie Randall. As we were hiking over we saw a whole hillside of mountain goats on top of Willard Peak. So we decided to eat our lunch and watch them. We did and it was awesome. They are beautiful animals. Keith and Brock decided to hike up closer to them and they even got this one to pose for them. Them, hiking closer spooked them enough that they started climbing up the steep rock face of the peak. We could hear the slate slipping and falling everytime they jumped up to a new ledge. it was so cool. That was an awesome birthday present. We could've watched them for hours but we had to get back before the kids got home from school. We had fun and we may do it again next year maybe we'll even make it to Ben Lomond peak. But if we see Goats maybe we won't.

You finally updated your blog. I am so proud! I love all the pictures of the fun activities that you have done over the summer. That is a great picture of you and Keith and the mountain goat. I am glad that you had a great birthday day trip. I can't wait to see you on Friday.
