Christmas 2008

Christmas was fun, and as always it came and went too fast. We all had a fun time opening presents. We received many things, perhaps too much, but there were also things we got that were needed as well. That is always a good thing. We visited everyone and didn't get home till after 5 pm. But we enjoyed everything for the rest of the night. I actually got what I've been asking for, for many years now, and that is a White Christmas. I loved all the snow. It was beautiful to wake up to!
I was quilting new quilts for my boys' beds for Christmas and I only got 1 done, but I will finish the other one this week I'm sure of it. They turned out pretty cool. I was tempted to keep them for myself. But it is Christmas, the season of giving, so I gave it. Ronda Phipps came and helped me bind it and quilt the last block. She's awesome! She even said she'd come help me do the other one when I got it up and it will go that much faster. I have great friends. Well I hope you all had as great a holiday as we did!!
