Are those black spots ELK?!!

Well I haven't been on for a while, We were out of town last week to Idaho Falls. We stayed with my sister, her husband and their perfect baby boy Ryker. We had so much fun with them. Every moment spent with them was fun and as always when having a good time, too short. We also spent time with Keith's Bro. Shane and His family. We spent a few hours in Jackson Hole. He saw some specks of brown off in the distance that we know were elk. We were hoping to see them a little closer, but I suppose it wasn't meant to be. We enjoyed seeing the stuffed animals in the visitors center, thanks to Carolyn's (Keith's mom) suggestion. We loved the drive to and from. It was pretty country. I got my lesson done on the drive which was great. I just put it on here for next week.
Last sunday, yesterday, we had stake conference. The boys sang in the youth choir, they didn't love it but supported their leaders like good boys who have made a committment with the Lord do. I have to admit I actually fell asleep for the first time ever in stake conference. I guess I didn't come as spiritually as prepared as I should have. I have repented and believe the Lord has already forgiven my mortal folly! We are now a week behind the rest of the Church in this area as far as lessons go. That makes it hard for my mother-in-law and I to compare notes, and inspire each other. With the Lord's help I'm sure I will still get the inspiration needed for me to continue learning His gospel.

It has been raining for 3 days and finally snowed late yesterday and last night. Crazy weather- it feels like spring-but because I know the gospel is true I know that weird weather is one of the signs of the times.

I was able to go to New Beginnings in our ward last night. I participated by feeling such a strong spirit when one of our members spoke and the spirit manifest to me some particualar things about her. I love those experiences and can't get enough. Keith stood to speak not long after and bore a strong and powerful testimony of what I was feeling. He is a great speaker. He was very emotional, which doesn't happen too often. I feel it was a great meeting. I believe I was better prepared for this one. Anyway, it has been a great couple of weeks full of fun times and memories.
