Bryson's Car

Well despite Keith's major objections to Bryson getting a car of his own we were thrown a deal we couldn't pass up. My sister's in-laws were getting rid of their "teenage" car (the car all their teenagers drove) because the last one home went on a mission, they asked if anyone wanted it. My sister immediately thought of Bryson because his mom was concerned about how getting kids to soccer games was going to work out with Keith working on Saturdays. My sister's in-laws knew that the car needed some major work done on it to keep it going so they sold it to us for $200. My dad, Bryson, 2 uncles and a cousin worked to change the clutch, boy that was a job and a half! But we won't complain because it saved us about $300. We still have to do back brakes, timing belt, and alternator belt, that should about take care of it. By then I figure we will have a brand new car for less than $800. It's a 1992 Honda Accord, a perfect beginner car. It is a standard, so Bryson gets to learn how to drive all over again. It will be a fun experience, I'm sure! I'm going to have a great time teaching him! Bryson is pretty excited!Anyway life is fun and busy every minute!

How fun!! I can't believe these kids are growing up so fast. Ness has got her permit and is doing pretty good; except she feels stop signs are beneth her and the speed limit doesn't count until you actually get your licence. Can't wait to see you all again!
