Only 2,000 times and 2,000 to go

Bryson had his first lesson in a standard last week. He killed it so much I lost count. I feel quite a strain in my neck and am wondering if I should get it looked at. I haven't had that good of a laugh in a while. He was getting frustrated though so I tried to keep the laughing at a minimum. We did take it out on the back roads so he could shift above 2nd gear. He did pretty well. He killed it at a light and we did have 1 car behind us so while he was freaking out trying to get it in gear to restart it I waved at the car behind me. It was great fun! Anyway, life goes on, they truly do grow up too fast, and I'm realizing I just don't take advantage of those times enough! However I'm not sure my neck is recovered enough to attempt another 2,000 times of killing at least for another couple of days.

We are headed down this weekend and I am sure Dave would love to help teach Bryson. Dave may have some tricks to the car you don't know about... ha ha. I remember driving that car and struggling with the clutch (this was even after I was driving my red car). I took Dave's sister Erin the the library in Kaysville and stalled about 5 times pulling into the parking lot. Tell Bryson to be patient he will get it eventually. Let me know if you want Dave to come work with Bryson for a while on Friday or Saturday, he is a great teacher.
