While the boys were out doing manly things the girls were busy with fun of their own. We don't have pictures to share though because Keith took the camera. We finished school shopping for livy and found great deals at Ross. She'll be the best dressed 1st grader ever! We went to the Aquatic Center with Tiff and her girls and mom, they had a blast. Livy went down the curly slide all by herself and loved it so much she went 7 more times. Savanah loved the froggy slide and had a good time swimming all around. We read books and played.
We also had some times that weren't necessarily fun but were experiences that had a lasting effect. Livy was taken to the chiropractor because of some major pain and was told she had 2 cracked ribs, no jumping on the tramp for 3 weeks and no rough housing til she feels better. The other thing is that my Grandma Penrod Died. Thursday night at 11:11 pm She had blood clots and leukemia and many other complications due to her diabetes. She is a great lady. I have some fun memories of her while I was growing up. My favorite was when Joy and I were helping her with the dishes and teasing her a bit and she grabbed the sprayer and soaked both me and joy. We immediately grabbed for cups to get her back and had a grand water fight in the kitchen, Grandma happened to lock herself in her bathroom to defend herself when grandpa came home and started to get mad at me and joy for having a water fight in the house, that is until he found out that grandma started it! He was dumbfounded and the look on his face said it all. He was as surprised as us about her involvement. Mainly because she was always the quiet observer, not one for being the center of attention, but always the one who made sure her family was close so she could observe their lives and how they were taking shape. She definately taught me some great lessons about life. We love her and we will miss her but we know that she she still lives on watching her family from a different place. Life goes on and it can be great, it is what we make it and I truly believe that!

I wish that I had more memories with Grandma, in a way it is my own fault. What a great memory that you have of her. I am glad that you and Tiff were able to distract mom from all that craziness. You are a wonderful sister!I am so glad that we were able to spend some time together as a family even in the unfortunate cirumstances.
